Netherlands

The Netherlands (Dutch: Nederland) is a parliamentary democracy, part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, consisting of the western European territory and three islands in the Caribbean. The main language is Dutch. The European part of the Netherlands borders the North Sea, Belgium and Germany and has a population of about 16,785 million. The capital is Amsterdam – certainly one of the most beautiful cities in the world -, but the seat of government is The Hague. The Netherlands is a geographically low-lying country covering 16,039 square miles, with about 20% of its area located below sea level, and the rest lying only a few feet above sea level. Most of the country is very flat, with the exception of foothills in the far south-east and several low hill ranges in the central parts. The climate is moderate maritime, with cool summers and mild winters. The Netherlands are as much for lovers of big skies, light, wind and water, as they are for people who want to enjoy unique architecture and culture, old or modern, a perfect infrastructure and a friendly, uncomplicated and cordial people.

We designed this unique trip to the Netherlands for a family of four looking for creative experiences in both the remarkable cities and beautiful country sides of this historical country. We have some super tour guides in Holland and the private tours they provided really set the tone for this trip.
